Zubeen Garg — Music and Culture. A Lasting Legacy.

Zubeen Garg (জুবিন গাৰ্গ; 18 November 1972 – 19 September 2025) was a singer, composer, actor, director, and humanitarian from Assam, India. Born Zubeen Borthakur in Tura, Meghalaya, he recorded over 38,000 songs in more than 40 languages, acted and directed in Assamese cinema, and gave through the Kalaguru Artiste Foundation. Zubeen Orbit is a tribute: his music, films, Mayabini Room, a diya in memory, and Zubeen Khetra at Hatimura, Kamarkuchi, Sonapur.
